The DELS General English program is designed to develop students’ ability to communicate confidently in English for a wide range of situations including travel, work and social interaction.
Our General English courses build students’ language skills in all areas, including listening, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary, with particular emphasis on speaking and pronunciation.
DELS offers General English courses at the following levels.
- Elementary
- Pre-Intermediate
- Intermediate
- Upper Intermediate
- Advanced
Following a General English course students will have a solid English language foundation to progress to higher level classes in Professional Business English, English for Academic Purposes and the IELTS Preparation program if they wish.
